since i feel without words to describe the prod itself, i'll meta-comment: i think this demo signaled the end of the classic era at the amiga scene, there was no way anyone would try again to code such effects and thus begat the start of the "race for the 3d" era.

GREAT!

Tuxedo.

Fantastic Music and effects.

awsome. the title picture by archmage is iconic. 5/5

comment by Toffeeman on 04 December 2006

Brilliant demo for the stock A1200 sadly I seem to have problems running it on Winuae though.

The music isn't to my taste but with so my good/inovative effects it's just a classic.

I remember the coder saying he wanted to add some sort of inverse scroll text to the plasma zoom but he didn't have enough cycles left todo it in 1 frame. The voxel scroll text, Plasma Zoom and Landscape were my fav effects !

Hugely influential, but a little bit dull. A nice demo.

Just for the records: Andromeda made a comeback to the demoscene, on pc, on 8 april 2007. It was their first demo after Nexus 7.

comment by niobyte on 06 October 2007

One of the greatest AGA demo's in the classic period (prior 1994). This is one unique and polished production by Andromeda. I think since Mr.Hyde's Amiga 1200 was malfunctioning, made it even more unique. Since a lot of the effects were different colours to what Andromeda usually used in their demos. This demo is great from start to finish. It is also one of the ultimate benchmark demo's of pushing an un-expanded A1200 to its limits. An absolute Classic. What else more could I say ;)

Nice demo, I did some system degrading to get this one running. Nice effects en the movement off the īlampī object is very natural.

comment by zplex on 15 March 2008

Some really cool effects, cool music and nice graphics. Always loved andromeda stuff back then.

comment by z5 on 16 March 2008

Does anybody know the best config for running this in winuae. I want to redo the screenshots but i don't seem to find the ideal settings. The shade cluster part for example is totally messed up as is the ball with light beams.

comment by RaHoW on 16 March 2008

For me best demo of all time on non-accelerated A1200, of course one of the best all plateform mixed ^^

comment by dodge on 07 April 2008

I so badly want to know such effects :_(

comment by dodge on 30 April 2008

...and as I just wrote a comment (finally) on Hardwired saying it defined the so called oldscool era, this one subsequently defined (and it's just my opinion) what's now called 'newschool demo' ... the effects and the design approach just leaped out of the then contemporary style...

comment by zhamir on 27 September 2008

one of the best!
