Nature has a rare quality about their productions...you can
watch them over and over, and they only get better, like
all other fine art and music.

comment by rloaderror on 10 December 2003

technically great, but where did all the nice graphics of its cousins go? Think it looks like "my first raytraced picture using 3d studio flat and seamless texture collection volume 1"... Only thing missing is a fireplace and some chairs/tables that all newbie raytracing people love.. Still, respect for the rtrt engine...

comment by z5 on 10 December 2003

Hmm..definately not as good as Grid 2 and Zeon, both in the soundtrack and the graphics. The textures were very rough. Still, i like the tunnel effect (screenshot 5) and the scene in screenshot 6 and 7 is impressive (nice lightning/shadow). Good, but not exceptional. Nature can do much better :)

Although it's not really requested;
Original soundtrack from this intro can be downloaded here:
http://c-frog.madtracker.net/One.Mod .. (About 32kb) .. It's ofcourse made on Amiga, but I renamed it to #?.mod so it's easier for the lazy peze-dudes to just start it by one click ;)

Recommended player on PC is ofcourse DeliPlayer.

Thanks for the link, c-frog! Do you have the music from Grid2 somewhere (which you made together with Pipe)?

comment by c-frog on 31 December 2003

Nope, sorry! I did the music, and Pipe did the sound for Grid 2. Therefore you need the special coded player for Pipes own tracker engine, so the best is to mp3 it directly from the intro ;) .. I could maybe do that some time..

that raytracing engine is smashing!!!

comment by KAM_ on 12 August 2004

this one isn't so good, as 'zeon' is.

comment by mailman on 25 September 2004

I don't like this one. Sorry.

comment by corial on 06 July 2006

Now that is nice! I would like to see more Nature stuff...

comment by pintcat on 10 July 2008

It's always good to see realtime-raytracing with such a smooth motion. The resolution (4x4?) is a bit heavy but I think it's part of the game if you want high framerates. Music is brilliant, too.

comment by Damion on 07 February 2009

Hmmm... I may have been a little over-zealous with my earlier comment back in '03, but what do you expect from a Nature fanboi such as myself :p Definitely not the perfection (from my non-coder perspective) of grid2 or zeon... but still nice and something I'll watch on occasion.
