Thanks to everyone for the usually high quality and for the high amount of releases. Especially Dodke, Kiero and Britelite, Nah-Kolor and the Ghostown guys, and also Moods Plateau for making the best ever Hawaii 80s beach party in the middle of an Easter Demoparty *EVER*. And of course everyone else who supported us with entries.

You guys are awesome.

About the CNCD stuff:
In the early-to-mid-90s I wasn't with Amiga, so I still have holes in my general knowledge from that era, so I haven't seen that Axis intro before, then it was later flagged by someone on Pouet, but we didn't react fast enough, because I was already busy with other Oldschool and the Amiga demo compo. And since no one took the 3rd prize on the stage for it, I am really wondering what the hell was that all about.... But at least the entry contains new/changed content compared to the Axis intro, like graphics and the music... (Fix me? I have no way to check on that again to be sure...)

Anyway, my bad. If for next years someone who feels like a walking demoscene-encyclopedia volunteers to check on all the prods before we show them, he's very welcomed to join the team for a pre-compo checks.

Yepp, sorry, double post was caused by shitty post-party internet conditions.

No prob at all. Also, since you genuinely didn't know about the intro (which is totally understandable), i don't think it's an issue at all. Things happen.

Regarding that CNCD intro

Youtube of Bingo by CNCD here (live)
https://youtu.be/11LsNgJnHIU?t=18m27s

Perhaps this prod. should not have been in the compo! As compo entries
may not have been released before.. Bingo was already released without
the 2d pics in 1995 under the name "Siesta"

Actually I'd like to confess that 'Gin And Tronic' from Ephidrena has participated at two separate parties. First KG and then another one (where the orgas agreed for bringing more entertainment in the compo I think @Stingray)

Also I entered a 4K intro called Kina which is almost totally the same as Bier only changed music and colors. At the same time as Bier was released at Mekka, but in the TG compo. Edit: The TG compo got cancelled though. So re-entered it at Antiq 2000. I think also this time with the organizers blessing.. hmm maybe I'm not so bad after all.

I think it might have been the same year Exploder did a similar thing, but his TG entry was actually disqualified.

I have repeatedly tried to enter Photons Tverrfaglig Remix into the TG demo compo (Photons remixed as part of a school project), however every time there is someone disqualifying it in the Gathering jury. However I expect soon everyone I know will be out of the jury, so hoping for next year release.

To make up for it.. here is a Psylteflesk remix you probably haven't seen yet. http://www.pvv.org/~espenamo/eph-vgflesk.avi .

So CNCD and/or Axis are really very light offenders in this scene crime.
Let's not mention Rob Is Jarig!

I got word about the CNCD case.

Apparently, Bingo was really done in 1992, and then left unreleased. Then it got finished and released once by the original coder as Siesta by Axis in 1995, with a different soundtrack. Then now, 21 years later the original 1992 version was found on an old Amiga HDD, so it was finished again as Bingo and released.

The CNCD guys didn't knew about the Axis release, which was done by the original coder. So they claim anyway (if I get it right). So yes, it's indeed a reuse (which is pretty obvious), but they claim they "reused" it unknowingly, especially since the CNCD version was the first, just never got released, so it's a pretty complicated case of "reuse".

As rloaderro said, there were worse crimes in the history of the scene... The only problem I see is of course, that it hit people (Nah-Kolor) who submitted original content, and got finished lower in the compo because of this...

@Z5 : It's done by Zixaq. I wondered if he could do reggae. Actually he said he doesn't really like reggae so with that in mind I think he did a great job on this tune.

@magicnah: is there going to be a final version for Revolution? I suppose there won't be a final of last years demo (meaning i can add the party version)?

The final version of 'subside' from Revision 2016 is also out.

Updated link in pouet.

It's got a number of small improvements (some camera tweaks, a bit of sync) and bug fixes (audio replayer, frame rate on emulators)
