At times, it saddens me to see good groups searching for (mainly) active amiga coders so they can do or finish their projects, especially in cases like Ghostown and Madwizards, who have massive potential for stunning demos and a proven track record. Seems like (amiga) coders truly are a dying breed. Wish there was a way to attract new people to it...

Hey, W, how do you know what I want to contact Noname for? :) Maybe we just like to swap underwear?

You are obviously not looking for a coder at this point in time, Ghostown. Your Revision demoproject is nearly done and you just have to add some finishing touches here and there, right? :)

Isn't it time to get the rumours going anytime soon? Z5, motivate people! We (FD) are as far as I know, not taking part in any of the .exe compos this time. Bstrr is busy with getting his business going in reallife, Optima is back again, but hasn't got any plans for Revision. Neither have I, so it seems we're just going to shout "Amigaaaa" instead of standing nervously and wait for our stuff to be displayed this Easter.

Could it be the first time in the BP/Revision history that Amiga Demo Compo will not take place due to lack of productions?

Well, rumor has it that we're working on a demo this year.
Already in the process of laying out effects, storyboard and overall concept.
Very little spare time at hand, though, like pretty much the rest of the community.
That means only little steps forward but hopefully a lot of them will lead to the finishing line.

(...)

T he winners of all the categories will be presented to the public during an award ceremony at the Revision demoparty on April 3rd 2015."

I've got a few effects done. yay. not much graphics or design and not feeling particularly inspired on that front but should try to start throwing something together. And still waiting on the soundtrack...

ATM I'm about to declare "alpha state" for the project.
Major screens are linked, although there's still yet either placeholders or rather crude prototypes of what to display. Protoype of the soundtrack dropped yesterday.

To get at least a minimum done within a week/weekend it has come to this that I'm currently disciplining myself to clean up the flat in stages through the workdays (1 day, one room) in order to have the weekend free from "household procrastination".

...yet, it still gripes me that I should've started "effect farming" in summer or right after TRSAC ... but no ...

Working on a demo for the oldschool compo. It will be quite amiga-ish even if it's for a different platform. Hope to compete against good A500 demos though!

We're crawling toward the beta state. It's a bloody grind peppered with very little spare time, chipmem overuse (needs reorganisation) and occasional strange blitting bugs in the last scene.
All effects are practically in place. 3 of them still need to be designed and synched. Tune beta is nice but doesn't live up to my unrelenting demands just yet, poor Novel ;)
On the bright side, we've got some nice graphics by a "guest star" :)
