http://www.eurochart.dk/

A lot of work has gone into this and all of us should show our support and vote (and write articles) so all this work hasn't been in vain. I like the idea of just being able to vote for post-2002 productions.

@bonkers

yeah, always sucks when every issue really old demos and long time inactive people fill the charts...

@bonkers:

I already have asked for support to EC on my newspage. I think it is really well done. Experience tells me that it must have been a daunting task to collect all those productions and add them to a database. It shows real dedication from a dedicated amiga team. Hope it gets a lot of support.

I think it really is a good idea to only include post-2002 productions. Who knows, maybe it will motivate sceners more (or aren't you guys motivated to be in charts?). Somehow, i have a feeling that this could have a positive effect on the amiga scene.

On a sidenote, it has motivated me to start working on A.D.A again :)

Yeah, the idea is great, was boring seeing Chaos,Offa and other in the top of the charts issue after issue.

@z5 maybe you should write a "making of ADA" article for EC? would be great fun to read but I guess you have enough work with ADA itself.

Yeah, maybe one day we will see you in the charts, Bonkers (or maybe already in EC48?). Still, you need to release more stuff for that (hint hint :) )

Nah, i had my few moments of fame in a previous issue of EC (have to check which one but it was one of the last issues): there was an interview with a bit of background info aswell and there was a review of A.D.A by Darkhawk. I think that this is more than enough :) so it was time to hide again :)

I always wondered if voting by a 10-years-no-swap-no-allstar-lame-ex-scener like I am was welcome in the charts... I rather doubt that. Prove me wrong and my votesheet will be on the way... :)

Well, following your logic, i shouldn't have voted aswell because i haven't contributed anything to the amigascene myself. I don't even consider myself a scener. What i do have is a strong passion for those wonderful things called demos and i've seen quite a few of them.

I have the impression that you are actively following the amigascene again so why the f¨*ck wouldn't you vote?

Careful with the nick though. They might confuse you with the legendary graphician uno (i sometimes do :)) Which made me wonder: is it a capital O at the end of your nick or a 0 (zero). Ah, it's a zero... shouldn't be a problem then :)

Which issue was the interview with you in? And ofcourse you are a scener, it's all about being a part of the community, not about the amount you produce (that's atleast the thread I'm haning on to =) )

Everyone that have any knowledge about the scene should vote, not just people who produce demos. How strange wouldn't it be if only people who makes music would be alowed to vote for music charts.

it would be cool if there was some kind of cross-linking-system between ada and eurochart. maybe you could click to go to a demo on ada from eurochart and link groups and sceners from ada to eurochart...

just a thought =)
