Shameless plug of the OCS invitation here in order to remind you all of the signup this week (which usually gets filled up in no-time).

Interesting! May I add you to the list for the "DS14 Release Rumors" command on #amycoders? :)
"* Blueberry - Something interesting" ..or a description of your choice..?

Ohh.. and..

DATASTORM release state: Decided on creating a prod for DS14 four months ago and am starting to think it's time to create a "main.s" very soon.. :D

Deadguy, would it be possible for you to reserve a couple of seats for Blueberry and I at Datastorm? That quiet area right next to the "turntable/grandstand",where Tulou and G*P sat last year would be perfect,if possible. We'll arrive around 17 o'clock I think.

I do not think you will have any problems to get the seats if you are arriving around 17. But I can see what I can do (but I can not promise anything) =).

So, what's people's release status by now?

I have decided what to bring, and done some work on the audio. It will be... (surprise!) a bootblock! :-D

After an incredibly crap end to 2013 with an even more monumentally shit start of 2014, I can now safely say I am back right onto scene activities :D

There will be a ProTracker module for the music compo dam it!

Yes mate, stuff is now dealt with! Once Heine has done his bit we'll be rock on for some 64k intro badness!

It's sort of funny...

Around this time last year (that is, right before DATASTORM), I had a basically complete effect for my bootblock, with about 100 bytes to spare for some sound.

I currently have... well, not exactly complete, but at least mostly working sound, with about 100 bytes to spare for some effect. ;)

Looking forward to checking out the demos. Btw. great to see you active again, Corial.

It is great and surprising to see "old" sceners pop up among the credits

Also, excellent intro, Corial! Like it a lot. It's quite different but very nice. Superb line drawing routines (my favourite effect) and subtle but very natural and tight synchro with the tune. Also, that colored "circle" effect (with the group names on top) is great. I dig the design in most scenes and the tune is excellent. You're on a winning formula with your latest intros in my book. Can't wait for the Revision intro!

Absolutely awesome party (as always) and a bunch of great releases!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish our demo in time (although the organizers were _very_ flexible) but the last day of stress-coding at the partyplace was nevertheless a really enjoyable process, with lots of beer + old & new friends dropping by the portable demolaboratory. Very motivated to complete the demo for a future party. :)

That's really awesome feedback, thanks! I truly wanted to do something different and a bit creepy too,and I honestly also think we succeded fairly well. Had my doubts about how the feedback would be,as we've mostly made "bang, smash, kapow" intros :).The Revision intro appears to get its own style, but well,we are still very early in the process and nothing (sort of) is cut in stone.

But your feedback motivates me to 1) get a good night's postparty sleep and to 2) work on the intro tomorrow evening :)
