Hey all,

I come from a C++ directx/opengl background in game development and I am recently getting into Amiga development(I used to own a 500/1200 back in the day).

Slowly, I'm working my way through the bare necessaries to get a development environment ready for coding and integrating myself into the essential resources and manuals. It's really great to see an active community around the Amiga scene and new passion coming into the field/old sceners making new demos.

Don't hesitiate to drop me an email for a chat, I guess I'll be seeing you all out there.

hi dxCUDA and welcome :)

It's wasn't really clear from your post so i was wondering: are you aiming to make demos with your Amiga development (since this is primarily a demoscene website and since we love demos, i guess/hope you are :))

Anyway, feel free to use and abuse the forum if you have any coding questions and good luck! It would be cool to see something from you in the future.

Also, this might interest you

Oh most defiantly, I've been interested in the demoscene for a long time and I can no longer contain the urge to dabble in it myself and explore the incredible world of Amiga hardware and software.

I was completely motivated towards programming and game development at a young age when I used to get copied Amiga games and the intros just blew me away; such a benchmark of passion, skill and computing. I have such a love of Amiga, only good things can come of it.

Thanks for the link and greeting, I hope to bring something to the table one day :]
