well, yeah ... that was expectable for everyone who followed the economic news starting in Nov. 2007. 2007, yes...the time this downward spiral really kicked off.
And my opinion was and still is: "don't rely in big business as sponsor"
because they may SAY "we believe in what you do here" but they drop youo like a hot potato when it comes to their own balance sheet!

...yesterday I ordered a small supporter ticket to do my share.
So you gotta let me win the freakin' compo to break even ;P

Just curious: how many entries do the 64k and 4k each need for separate compos? 3 i assume?

Yes, the minimum is 3 entries. On one occasion (in 2007), the 4k compo was run with only two entries. Every time the 4k and 64 compos was merged (in 2006 and 2008), a 4k won the compo. :)

You all know what this means, right? ;)

It means we need more 4k's, so that I can finally win a 64k-compo? =)

So in MdS- land there is confirmably a 64k and perhaps (saw an early alpha on emulator) a wild HW entry in the pipeline.

Looking forward to visiting Breakpoint again. Lets see if it is possible to finish some stuff, even though there isn't that much time left....

Oh nice, I haven't seem him for 9 years. I think it was at TP when he presented megademo 2000. One or more of the people that provided assets to that demo will actually come to BP as well. So looking forward to seeing you guys!

So, how is everyone's productions progressing? Am I the only one feeling the pressure?

I'm starting to feel like i should maybe start coding... but i didn't even know for sure if i was going or not until this morning.

last year i kinda pressured myself to code the demo by telling everyone on the first day of the party that i was trying to release something so maybe if i do the same now i eventually have to do something for the compos.

That's a start :) Seriously, though, get in there and get coding. We all look forward to more of your kick ass demos!

ATM transitions and completion of the plot, additional gfx, final tune
I'll take the week off before the party to polish on the colour scheme.

Mmm, a week off would be nice indeed. I have a couple of days before easter, where I'll probably sit and time things to the music. I just hope that I don't have to sit and try to time things at the party. It's virtually impossible to hear anything, when the guy next to you is playing music that just goes BUM,BUM,BUM!

yeah, exactly that's why the major goal this year is to _arrive_ with a _finished_ version and perhaps a prepared party-scroll function that anxiously awaits guest inputs :)

Almost makes me wish i was going to bp :) (i'm not btw)

Anyhow: execruncher output: Final size: 34880 bytes... I think i'll leave it at that. There are always things to improve... always things that should have been done differently. Maybe next time. If you need me, you can find me at the beach (so to speak...) :)

Fear not, i have officially ran out of routines now so another 4 years will probably be needed to code some new ones. Anyway, d0Dge, shouldn't you be coding instead of visting forums? :)

All parts are now officially linked. Now the tune just needs to be finished, and some timing-stuff needs to be applied. All in all, it sounds like another Focus Design release will see the light of day.
