So Ive been using Pro Wizard 2.2 for years, but I see newer demo mods not being rippable/not recognisable.

Anyone know of rippers that are somewhat updated?

Any examples of demos where you can't rip the tunes with Pro Wizard?

Abnormal - Intro
retrodentro - Rebels
Party Elkstravaganza - By the worlds best coder, Slummy :) Emperor gives return.
Scoopex - GloryStars 1 and 2

Ive just started to use my amiga again, and remaking a module archive is one of the things on the list (I know there are massive module archives online, but wanted to test/use ripper as I watch demos with amazing tracks).

:D

So, if I understand correctly, Elkstravaganza does not work, but Emperor does?
That's really strange since they use exactly the same playback code and conversion (it's an older version of Player 6.1).
Of course, Elkstravaganza is packed with Shrinkler, but I wouldn't expect that to effect the rip-ability once the intro has been decrunched and executed. :/

Ill admit Ive been doing it the lazy way;

Scan files by opening them in the ripper. Not by running the demos, and then scan from memory (like I used to do with exotic I belive, back in the days).

That's probably the problem then, at least in the case of Elkstravaganza. I'm pretty sure Pro Wizard has no idea how to decompress Shrinkled files. :)
