Hi

I'm from Brazil,and I'm newbie here.

But,I need to know about Videotracker....This a "acceptable" tool for making demos ???? And these demos are "acceptable" here ????

I planned build some little demos and I'll wish upload here....

Anybody help me with this question.

hi LAN,

First of all, welcome! It's not often we have the opportunity to meet somebody from Brazil, interested in the amiga scene.

As for your question about videotracker, i can't answer as i don't know much about videotracker. I remember it being on a CU coverdisk at some point and vaguely remember messing with it at some point. I'm not sure if videotracker works on Amiga 500.

I don't think there is any demo here that was made with videotracker. Most are in assembler, some are in amos, blitz basic or demomaniac, i think. However, we select productions on quality, not on what package they are made of.

Thanks for all

But I have a version of Videotracker (1.42) for Amiga 500,it's old...course !!!

State of Art demo from Spaceballs are made with Videotracker !!! It's wonderful

This tool is simple and there are a AGA version too !!!! And a new version too !!!

In this moment, i study these tool.....and others for making demos!!!

I'm like 99,99% sure that State of the Art wasn't made with videotracker :o)

pah, you couldn't be more wrong. it's widely known that it was made with red sector's demomaker :D

I believe most of the system stuff was done in assembly, but the real speed critical work horse code was done using inline arexx.
