Yet again, Ephidrena delivers the goods. It certainly works for me. Top presentation with good color choice, great font (what font is this?), and a neatbackground effect. Really cool.

Soundwise, the synth engine is still the best there is and it seems to have been improved again with better sound quality (according to the readme). Tunewise, buck the fuck is my absolute favourite... Would have been a very good tune for another kickass 4k intro.

The second tune (hex for sex or something like that) uses the really heavy long sounding bass tune a bit too frequently imo.

Cool release I like it. Only 4 tracks but the quality is great.
I want more :o))

@z5

"(what font is this?)"

Its the "we have to save bytes. lots of bytes" font.

comment by rloaderror on 31 January 2005

the font is just bitpatterns.. smallest text youll get if youre not going to write lots and lots of stuff..

hey. nice. this one itches for bitches, but where are the chicks with dicks"

comment by rloaderror on 31 January 2005

sounds like you want your own music disk... It is okay as long as your tunes arent as good as mine.

comment by z5 on 01 February 2005

Well, cheetah did an excellent tune in brus, which got me confused because cheetah does graphics normally. I got even more confused when Loaderror started doing music and graphics, while he is a coder. Which naturally brings me to the question: how good are Frequent and Zixaq in code and or graphics... Multitalented i'd say but don't tell that to the ephidrena boys... the are allready way too elite :)

like it, good sound - clean and fat.

Classic. 4kb music disk. Break the barriers with cleaner and nicer samples! A must-see.
