@drift: (off-topic) i assume you're the one man army (code, gfx, music) behind that nice Cydonia flashback demo and some other cool prods? I'm looking forward seeing what you can do on Amiga (again) in the future so fingers crossed it works out for you!

Yes that is me. That Cydonia demo is kinda cheesey and lame compared to the standard of modern PC demos, but it was my first time trying to code something in about 20 years and I had lost all touch with the demoscene.

Well I learned a lot since then and made some better stuff on PC but all my memories of the demoscene is from the amiga and I want to go back and make a demo like I wished I could make back in the 1990's.

Linguist refused to install with Visual Studio 2015 Community 2015 but changing some lines in the manifest file (source.extension.vsixmanifest) and recompiling seems to install it ok (it recognizes 68k asm correctly it seems):
			<VisualStudio Version="14.0">
<Edition>Community</Edition>
<Edition>IntegratedShell</Edition>
<Edition>Express_All</Edition>
</VisualStudio>
</SupportedProducts>
<SupportedFrameworkRuntimeEdition MinVersion="4.5" MaxVersion="10.0" />
