I know these games were developed by ex-demo sceners. Does anyone know which demos they actually released ?

@toffee:
I seem to remember (and searches confirm) that Heatbeat was involved in Elfmania's music and Destop in Stardust's graphics (real names are on hall of light or mobygames).

Stardust was coded by WDO (CNCD) and graphics were by Destop as already said. Elfmania was done by Complex members (Saviour did the code, don't remember who did the graphics).

Eurogamer has a review on Super Stardust for PS3, giving it a whopping 9/10. Worth quoting from the article: "The music is a little lacklustre too - definitely reminiscent the game's Amiga demo scene roots, to the point where I was expecting a scrolling message with "greetz" to appear at some point"

Is Super Stardust HD coded by WDO ? Game looks really cool !!! Super Stardust is actually my fav shooter of all time and one of the only games I completed on the Amiga ! First level is a bit dull but after that was a really intense shooter with great graphics.

Jeff Minter has made Tempest for the 360 as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoT-_2wC4vY which looks quite cool and demoish ! Did you know he made the visual for the mp3/cd player on the 360 as well. I'm sure this guy thinks he invented video feedback.

Just noticed the comment on this video says "Playstation rips of Geometry Wars". I think the guy who wrote this needs todo his re-search.
