The Meteoriks are back!

The Meteoriks will be held for the second time in 2016 - and they're aimed to be a bit different. One important focus is the broad inclusion of both demomakers and -watchers by trying to have a very open process.

We listened to your feedback from last time and have made some changes that we hope you'll welcome.

This year, only the Public Choice and New Talent categories are preset: all other categories are open for proposal! No matter if you code on 30 year-old machines, do music on the newest of the new, or carve demogroup-logos into potatoes: there can be a category for you, if you propose it! The most fitting and popular will be chosen by the jury.

We would like to thank everyone who proposed a category, and everyone who applied as a juror. We got some really interesting category proposals and are looking forward to the culmination of those.

The Jurors have already started sifting through the vast stream of productions. You can help them by proposing a production for a category, along with reasons why the production should be included.
