Airport, plane, shuttle and hotel coding removed a total of 100 bytes today, mostly just by tweaking and re-using constants.

3940 bytes.

Time for bed. :)

First release candidate ready. 4096 bytes.

Oh, and as for 100 bytes, Hoffman's tidying up the music this morning also gave exactly 100 bytes. ;)

Holy shit at that Appendix intro. Instant favourite for me (which is not surprising since Kiero coded it). Surprising 64k compo with some unexpected group returns.

There were quite a few surprises which i didn't see coming at all. Deetsay, Hedgehog & Metal Designer, Lowlife, Judas (assuming that this is the same person who did great gfx for some amiga prods way back), Oxyron (i did see that one coming though)... Great to see Appendix come back after all those years too. Same goes for Tulou, Traktor and Unique. Also it seems Ghostown now has a coder (Tygrys) too and Cahir is doing great work too.

Yep, surprising things happened indeed.

It was a great party with a lot of comebacks with and lot of production for Amiga. It was again a great job of Charlie and we are very thankful for all he do for us.

@Noname, I was a honor to meet you. I hope you find soon somebody who will take care of you ill Amiga mother board. I am personally satisfied with Amibay web forum, where you can find guys for repairs and where you can find CSMK2 to buy as well. Just dont be surprised by prices these days, they are more then high :(

so: I did finish the demo but possibly entered it in the wrong competition. anyway, was really cool to see so many amazing OCS productions. there could have even been a separate a500 demo competition really. (edit: if certain people had managed to fix their demos to work with less memory I guess) but you never know what will happen next year. possibly an 060 comeback.

The party was really a blast.. Hedgehog worked on/off since december on the demo. Metal Designer stepped in in the last 3 weeks or so :) And bonefish in the last week (voxel) Even Kalms stepped in in the last hours on sunday, bug in the music player :) It was a good process we ran in many stuff with take to much time.. We won't have that again for next production :)

Nice amiga prods.. To bad not so many AGA ones.. But seeing so many ECS prods was really touching for my amiga heart. Well, guys, the next episode at Revision 2016 ? Let it all be the next moment to show down! Hope TBL and Elude will be back than to!

Nice meeting alot of old guys and new aswell.. The polish guys, brightlight.. Blueberry again.. Virgill (who i already partied with at Prime 1992 :) It was all great.. AMIGAAA!!!!!

Oh and fuck those guys who stole Ghostown money, car keys and stuff.. Luckely a kickstarter funding at infodesk
for Revision visitors made sure Ghostown could go back to Poland.. Real scenespirit!

"brightlight"?!????? hehehehe!!! is he that coder from the well known group DeCadence?? ;)))

kidding aside, this was an awesome party!! I can't point exactly why, but even with me being on the edge of exhaustion (from the first day), I enjoyed it way more than last year.

meet some great amigans again, meet in person lots of people that I have even worked with, but knew them only from forums, groups or emails, and meet few new ones that I didn't knew before at all.

feel a little bit bummed that I've spent too much time with doing + fixing stuff, so that I've missed so much things that I wanted to do, no. 1 being the one that at the end I've missed personal session with blueberry regarding his OCS synth, even that we actually were sitting next to each other. :((

so much people and little or bigger things to thank for, but biggest hug to all that were understanding and supporting while I was racing clock on both deadlines.

don't know how the others felt about this, but I really enjoyed that "amiga corner" idea, even with only few of us (9-10 at the end?). that may be the reason, why all the time I almost felt there as at home. :)) the best part is that surrounded by the amigans, you actually get a feeling that you're at amiga-only party. ;))
I'll do my best and try to make it even more special next year. (there were some transportation glitches this year, one car didn't come altogether, so we were missing some equipment, etc...)
big hugs to the amazing guys like Tim, Premium and Triace, that choose to sit with us rather than being with their own groups. deepest respect because of that.

while at it, @blueberry, I promise that next time I'll try grab some tables facing forward (me or whoever of us enters the hall first). but I do hope that blueberry flavoured "water" did wash out that bitter taste from your mouth. ;))

we can only hope for a better weather next time (and more amiga releases, of course ;)) ).

Such fantastic music in the Ghostown demo. I've completely lost count on how many times I've heard it already!

@bonefish: Yes, let's sit facing forward next year. ;)

But apart from that small issue I really enjoyed sitting in the Amiga row with you, Magic, Psycho, Psycho and Curt Cool. It was a funny thing with Psycho and Psycho - they have both been in the scene for ages, but this was the first time they met each other. :)

Yes, I also missed the synth session with you and the Rose session with Psycho. Same thing with JazzCat and Slayer. We will need to continue on mail.

I plan to tidy up the synth within a few weeks and release it in a complete package, easy to use for both musicians and coders.

Also enjoyed talking briefly to Virgill. Yet another legend returning. Who knows, he might even be doing something for Amiga again. :-D

And awesome compos of course. Great Amiga Demo winner by Ghostown, and no less than 6 Amiga entries in the oldskool compos. Amiga didn't do so well in Oldskool Demo this year, but that 8088 demo was really crazy... and a well deserved second place for Dalton's GBC demo!

For anyone interested, the Rose source for Painter's Euphoria is now available in the Rose repository. Be sure to also grab the latest Rose interpreter (and the WAV file for the music) from the Downloads section.

I will probably also make the Amiga side of things public at some point, but I need to change some things there first.
