There are so many good musicians so it's difficult to select one favourite composer, but i think that would be Jazzcat/Appendix, who has probably made the most impact on me with his original melodic tunes.

Must check out Archangel as i haven't heard much from him.

For those who don't know, there is a fantastic scenemusic radio at Nectarine.

Other fantastic composers: Xtd, X-ceed, Mantronix and Tip, Skip, Nork, Kb, Pink, Blaizer, Nhp & Bkh, ...

Anyone have the randall module from a demo called.. footsteps.. nightwalker, sleepwalkers or something? The demo isnt that good but the soundtrack rocks.. Its the usual randall breakbeat thing.

My two favourite composers on Amiga would have to be Zixzaq and Esau, even though I've been working with Esau quite a lot I still have to mention him as he is a wicked musician, I just hope that some good group would give him the chance to prove himself.

Starting an endless discussion you are! Too many gifted, talented, original composers thru the years... from Anders Hamre to Muffler, Filipetto to Revisq.. One could never stop namedropping! What I'd like to see, is a list of composers still ACTIVE on the Amiga. Would it be as long as a list of our heroes?

Hmm..just found a old 64k Coplex demo called wormhole for the TG95 party. The tune is just fantastic! Its by Supernao, so I guess lines up next to Archangel..or just behind maybe...

Dr. Awesome bye-bye module for EC25 was really cool!
And speaking of diskmag-modules: Marc/Haujobb surely is the man.

I personally like FRESH sounding mods. I'm not into the classic .mod / chip tune style at all.

The only two Amiga musicians I know of which I can bare to listen to are Xhale/TokyoDawn and SuperNao/TBL. Some pretty edgy/untypical Amiga mod, especially from Xhale!

Dr Awesome made some cool music ...I vaugely remember a music disk with some amazing music...but generally i found Dr A too fond of synth's...very instrumental....it just sounded too false/off pitch on a amiga..

Just downloaded all the tunes from:

http://skipp.ras.pl/

And..OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is all this by skip? If so...hes hereby my new music GOD!! Fantastic music!

Great stuff, isn't it! I tried to contact Skip (or Andromeda) only a week ago to see if he has made some new tunes but no reply yet. If you are into this kind of music, i have mp3's from some other polish composers aswell which i could probably put online somewhere (if i recall correctly, quite a few tunes by Artha, who did a remix of andromeda's amiga tune) and remote access. If i recall correctly, remote access was phatwoman/Potion (did a tune in Future Visions/Potion), and the other one was Jim/Madwizards.

Oh and you can also get have a look at http://www.mp3.pl. Have a search for "psycode" (who did the rather excellent Crystal_kingdoms remix of Andromeda). Some nice tunes there aswell.

For a long time, i have been searching for more music from ex Polish-sceners. But i have a hard time finding any :(

Best composer? Jesper Kyd and Mad Freak (aka Julius) surely! And also Dr. Awesome did a fantastic tune for the demo Space Deliria. Moby was excellent too. Audiomonster also knew what he was doing :-)
