Any release date is planned maybe ? I just read on Mentho's site that diskmag engine are ready and bugs fixed (news from 2009-08-26). And as i read in the info about this engine:

A diskmag engine. To be used in Nukleus Versus #6 AmigaOS4 release. Will also be made available for anyone who likes to release a diskmag for AmigaOS4.

Currently implemented
Article tags:
- Background image/article
- Headlines
- Article links
- Music links
- Text color

Misc:
- Multiple scrolltexts
- Gfx button menus (from top and from bottom)
- Hi/Lores option
- Custom mouse pointers
- Slideshow enabled
- Easy configurable with config file

Also here a screenshoot. Screenshoot not looks good must to say, but maybe it becouse of "versus classic" look. Will be cool to have modern open-source engine which will allow newbes making their mags without jumping deeply to coding..

The screenshot has nothing to do with Versus, it is the gfx I did to have something to test the engine with (and I don't plan to put more effort in it as it is something other who wants to use the engine should replace with their own gfx). Any gfx artist that want to contribute with new menu gfx for the engine should contact me... ;)

The menus and font are easy to change (just replace the gfx files and update the config with new coords and links to have what you want).

The first version will not be open-source as the code is a mess... :P But it is configurable so you can change the look a lot without changing the code.
