On Amiga that was Cracker Journal by Alpha Flight, released in 1988. At least that's what I remember. =) Feel free to correct me here. :D

most probably the first diskmag ever was on c64 as the first concept of demo scene was most prolific on this platform first.

One of the first mags was ironically called "SEX n CRIME". However other mags already existed in the form of online ascii texts on bbs. "INFLUX" from FBR was one of them.

... and what about using the powerful "prods" menu on pouet.net ?
by selecting diskmag+ the 3 amiga configurations, and asking a sort by release date, it gives a perfect history
of the amiga diskmags in one clic:

pouet's engine and database is well done and open. * anyone * can add productions, and even ask for a new machine category.
The productions potentially lacking on pouet will sooner or later be added of course: now and often,
some sceners comes and fill the database; I've even seen people adding productions I've done myself and completely forgot with the time. It seems that some people took their demo collection and verify if everything has been correctly upload, adds screenshots and comments. It also connects the different scenes, and it is the first tool that allows to make realistic statistics on demoscene for the first time: before pouet, I didn't even knew the C64 scene was so active, Do you want to know exactly the number of amiga prods released this year: good question:

january 2006 -> june 2006 : 23 productions,( 11 at bp06.)

2005: 71.
2004: 74.
2003: 85.
2002: 110.
2001: 159.
2000: 158.
1999: 222.
1998: 321.
1997: 345.

you can filter any category by production or machine with pouet. You can sort these productions by date, number of thumb. there are pages by group and pages by parties, which is a great plus: I use to surf to my party friend's production using the party pages. If a production is a co-op, pouet support links to each group. Sure, pouet exist since 2000 but it is only very good since 2004.
Also you can customize the way the page appear. Also, it opens it data with
Syndication.

(sorry.)

krabob, thanks. but of course no problem for me to use pouet :) just want to point, that pouet do not have tons of prod rigth now. On zx-spectrum, on amstart and on amiga too. In this fact i think, 'early' history of amiga stuff, based on pouet database only, will be incorrect.

Can somebody fix me there: if SEX n CRIME 01 was done on c64 in 1989, and Cracker journal 01 on amiga was done on 1988, so then how it possible that first diskmag was on c64 ? Or just maybe SEX n CRIME was not first one on c64? (i mean diskmag concept itself, not just plain ascii texts).

I see that Andy's Daily 3 by Crawley League of Pirates was done on c64 in the middle of 1987. I think this one a first one ? Or sex_n_crime just mean somethink like "normal" diskmag on c64 ?

According to the "FreaX - A Brief History of the Computer-Demoscene" book, Sex n Crime and a magazine called Mamba were the first ones. They followed the paper mags already common, like Illegal or Iguana.
But the first disk mag was "Lonestar" from 1984 by a company called Softdisk Publishing Corporation.

But I have no clue if this info is correct.

I've got some old commercial diskmag from 1988 called Ami Exchange / A.X. Magazine... It's not a scene diskmag but an emag non the less. Has an interview with Jim Sachs (who made the gfx for Defender of the Crown) and articles on 'new' Amiga's (2500/3000), viruses, short review of what's new in AmigaDOS 1.3 etc (and some Sonix music :P).
