Since the demise of The Party, amiga users haven't had any amiga releases anymore under the christmas tree. i remember the time when The Party was still held. Looking forward to downloading releases, watching them when it's freezing cold and dark outside, with christmas presents under the huge tree and a happy family inside the warm and cheerful house and stuff like that.

Anyway, enough of that romantic crap. My point is: tUm*04 is doing amiga competitions for the first time so was wondering if any amiga group is preparing something?

the tg prices are good. 15000 NOK for the winner.. Now you have to compete against the pc prods though.. 1839 euros.

At other parties you'll get from 500 to 1000 NOK I guess. 50 - 200 euros or something..

At kindergarden you get the signed sheet from last year, one popcorn or if youre lucky, some 80s pornmovies.. (or straight to video thrillers):...

In fact we seldom win any compos, much to Spaceballs' enjoyment.. lots of 2nd and 3rd places though.. bah.. Ive got a trsac rubberduck or two though.. I love those even if the goldpaint wears off before we get them back to norway..

talking about prizes I think its alot better to hand out some memorial stuff, on LCP you get a golden 5.25disk (on my suggestion btw, stole the idea from TRSAC though) than giving out 50euros or so. I agree that there is a need for a Christmas party, hope that some Amiga sceners will go to tUM.

Elcrew release, intressting, Dalton Moscow inspired your coding?
