Well, I guess most of the effect looks a bit '98. But when you put them like this, it definitly works =) thumbs up!

I looooove that "fisheye lens" effect put over all the other effects to make them bend <3 makes it very hypnotic to look at, really top quality demo.
I somehow would have liked a hard tv border around all the effects, can't say why though, coz it seems more hypnotic as is :)

Beautiful, especially when you have followed the BP09 thread in here.
quote dodke:
"also i haven't coded any 68k asm in half a year so my head isn't working too well... i wonder if people will stone me if the demo only has tunnels and stuff again, or if I code graphics routines in c ..."
comming up with good design, music and self-irony is a splendid recipe for a somewhat "plan B" demo :)

One of my favourites in the compo. You're a talented demomaker, dodke. Period.

@dodke
Very nice prod! Did you use "multicolour" code here with a well chosen palette in 4 bitplanes and left the other 4 bitplanes for the "screen transparent effect"?
comment by dodke on 16 April 2009
@Crumb yeah i used a 4 bitplane c2p for the effects (they're all in 16 colours. that's why the flare looks like shite :) and the upper 4 bitplanes for the overlays. but the demo doesn't share any code with multicolo(u)r if that's what you meant. (but i admit some stuff's a little similar)
I'm really happy about the response the demo got. (thanks everyone for the nice comments!) Also even tho I spent a lot of the party coding it I had fun since I wasn't taking it very seriously.

Lovely!
Really nice and consistent through-out the whole demo. Second z5 comment about dodke .. your demo making is going places mate.
