Great comeback of TULOU.

superb to see my team mates back in action!!!

very nice atmosphere but sadly the overall (effects/style/etc) wasnt good enough to make me shout OMG! but still i like it and it deserves to be seen and rated ..

keep on rocking lads!

Be sure to get the Natrox cracked version aswell (it's available on Tulou's homepage). Featuring a fantastic oldskool style intro with some great tunes (press Enter for the music menu) and a funny scrolltext. It seems that the evil Natrox guys (who's names zepac and pipatron bear a striking resemblance with pezac and pipe from Nature :)) also poked into the demo and switched the photos in the credits part.

I like the tune of this one. On the matter of effects, it is nothing special. Actually there are only five or six effects (rather weak) but they are so smartly put inside of this pretty well designed productions that you almost don't notice it. Excellent openning credits!

some directional lighting for the twister would have made wonders. generate here

for entiretexture {
litpixel = (height.rightpixel-height.leftpixel) + (height.uppixel - height.downpixel) + 128;
currentpixel++
}
write_to_disk( litpixels )

and then multiply this with a colour texture in photoshop or something. Convert to 8bits and replace that contrastless mockery with some good looking stuff :)

my code isnt all correct, some range clamping and shifting might be necessary to get the right range.

the idea is

litpixel = lightdir dot heighmapnormal

lightdir could be (1,1) or something. Probably best if the vector is normalized, but that adds.. blablaba
heightmapnormal is ( leftpixel-rightpixel, uppixel-downpixel ) like in traditional 2d bump..

This demo reminds me the sisters of mercy generation. My op: The fx are very slow.
