Well, according to the readme that accompanies the demo, this was released at The Party 1995. This is backed up by the fact that it appears in the official TP1995 results. So i don't think the info is wrong :)

Im really fond of this one.. I have this strange addiction to Clawz tunes even if some dark men have wanted to teach me otherwise. Some pretty ace enginegraphics here with the wipeout routine and the end..
French graphicians rule and niko is really kicking ass with his logos in this one.. Colourful and successful at the same time and in 8-bit.. great shapes too.. The pic by Mon is good looking too..
The texture in screen 7 is a bit garish, but it kind of fits the music in that part.. It goes rather hypnotic..
This was one of the first demos where I saw the inside sphere table-routine too.. The people behind this demo were originally active on the atari scene, but probably migrated as the atari scene is a union of colour blind scrolltextcoders... :)

Definitely one of my favourite demos on Amiga. The atmosphere is amazing and the content is very interesting to watch. A clean demo with a fantastic soundtrack and with one of the best pictures I have seen - the one with the flying people, simply looks great!

I love Clawzs music :-) You have to love Oxbabs boastfull credit screens to ! As always another good demo from Oxygene.

Really a neat one, too bad that you immediatly knew "closer" would be winning the compo (shown as one no. 5 or something of approximately 25 demos).
dcmostro: seen it in the compo at tp4 :) I think you are mixing up "cuzco" and "vision".

I confirm the release at The Party 5 (1995)
This one is their achievement concerning amiga demo (c'est la demo de la maturité ^__^;;; ), but i think i prefer the Control ...

Just found out (via pouet) that Oxbab is apparently Christophe Balestra? Anyone with a PS3 should recognise him as CEO of Naughty Dog, one of Sony's best studios (with games like Jak and Uncharted). In interviews, he mentioned that he still codes on their games, while being CEO of the company. It's small world sometimes.

great demo, however difficult to tell whether the wipeout-style 3d part and the walking character at the end are true real-time transformed 3d or if these parts just fill pre-recorded polygon locations.
