@corial: seems only natural that you want to take a long break (much like Britelite did last year). Your release tempo was remarkable. You have done an awesome job in supporting the Amiga scene at easter so many thanks for that. One day, hopefully, inspiration and motivation will come back!

Also, Britelite is crazy. He was casually mentioning on here that there might be an intro from him but "forgot" to mention being behind two full-blown demos. <3 I sure hope to see that final version some day.

Respect must also go to Moods Plateau for delivering an intro each year. And ofcourse to Kiero and all of Elude. I wonder what happened that they decided to close down the group though? I hope they will all be back at some point.

I guess Blueberry didn't manage to finish the 60 items on his to-do list? Sure hope to see the result of that at some point in the year or next year. Also, Ghostown did deliver very nice contributions in the music and graphics compos.

Madwizards being back was an awesome suprise and totally unexpected. Also, Booster showed very nice coding skills in his demo and i sure do hope to see more from him.

It was also nice to see Jack-3d with a nice invitation demo.

These are some of the things i remember off the top of my head but in general, i'd just like to say thanks to all the people who still support the amiga scene. It's wonderful :)

Thank you z5, I can not say it better. I fully understand Corial, I have also small kid and we plan second one, before that moving to bigger flat etc etc... god knows how much time will I have for demoscene then.

I would like to also mention Hoffman (anything he touched won including the live performance), Jazzcat, Factor6 for the successful music prods, Darklight and Slayer for the graphx.

And just to make things clear,I'm not quitting the scene.I just need new inspiration and a new compo.And I mean,Datastorm seems to be a good choice.Gothenburg is within reasonable distance and price.Oh,and it could even mean a new coop with Malmix :-)

I've followed the party compo from my home, and there were a lot of good Amiga prods... Actually I enjoyed all of them except... the panda and the recipe fun things ;-)

The intro compo was amazing, even the "compofiller" of Corial is a cool intro...The Dekadence and the FD/UL intro were really blasting (with a personal little preference for the Dekadence one) and the compo also got a cool OCS intro (a great work by Dodge).

I've been greatly surprised by the Ghostown&RNO demo for the oldschool compo, really love that one !
Another cool surprise was the new MadWizard demo... (and, well the announce of the end of Elude was also a surprise...)

Finally the only bad things of this party is the pain of being a sofa scener and having the live stream that felt down before the amiga demo compo ^^!

So congrats to all participants for all these good amiga releases! (and a special congrat to Hoffman for having nearly winning everything :-) )

Revision came with some nice surprises indeed. I've only watched the stuff on Youtube so far which is a shame and thereby I have'nt seen the BooZombies 4k yet since it's not there. Anyhow, thanks to everyone who did cool stuff for the Amiga compos especially Britelite, Corial and the Ghostown bros how supplied both quality and quantity.

h0ffman: Is there a chance to get your concert record in mp3/ogg for download? I would love to listen to it few more hundret times at work/in the car... ;o)

great amiga compos at revision yet again - i'm really happy with the reception my 'comeback' demo got and if blueberry is happy to let me use his awesome demosystem, i'm sure you'll see more demos from me in the future.

also, i will make sure to hype revision 2013 enough so that corial goes yet again :D

I added most of the Revision stuff (still got to check out the 4k) and a few productions released in the last months.

If somebody could provide me with more detailed credits on the Focus design demo and the Elude demo, that would be nice.

Built up the Amiga today and re-watched the entries.
Boy do those youtube-UAE captures SUCK ... there's still nothing like the real McCoy.
I think, D!rt!e will do proper real-HW captures for YT with his video editing gear soon.

And I have to dig into the framework ... again ... to tackle elemtary issues and make a final version of the intro.

I think we'll know as soon as Assembly? ;P
On a serious note, I missed more than one of the (not so) foreseeable "big names" in the compo.

Obviously i have no clue what you are all talking about since i haven't heard any rumours?

But anyway, a TBL comeback would have been a huge surprise. After Starstruck, i kept hoping for something new from TBL but after a couple of years, you sort of accept that there might never be. So great news and hopefully we'll see something in the (near) future.

If there is one thing i've learned these last couple of years, it's that an Amiga group is never 100% dead it seems. There have been some remarkable and totally unexpected comebacks.

people get old, lazy and whine about everything - and then they get over it and starts doing demos again (true story, happened to myself!) :D

...OR they're locked in busy developing Battlefield 3 ...

Also, z5, if you would've been there you could've sniffed the exhilarating air of fresh rumors :D
On another issue, Scarab came undone either this Easter, but they will not abondon the project and instead finish it without a hurry.

Seems a few teams missed the deadline then. Also means we have things to look forward to in the future :)

Me and dodge also did a uk hardcore set on the second stage too, I don't dare listen to it cuz the speakers had a massive delay on them, so bad that dodge Gave up mixing and became tune selecta! I must say dodge, while mixing those tunes, you certainly know what goes with what ;)

While I am happy to have won in three music compos, it doesn't come close to seeing hot dots completed. All the edits syncopated in such style, just amazing. Bit of a dream come true from my early teenage days with the Amiga :)

I'd like to give huge kudos to you about how you were able to deal with the delay ordeal.
I just heard "KRAWALL" under those headphones xD

Was listening to the set recording and couldn't help rolling my eyes and smerking how I
cueued the tunes exactly the delay-time to late and also slammed the fader over just that moment
too late how the bloody delay was /o\

So i guess the rumored OCS demo from an old group returning was from Fairlight? :)

So it seems. Interesting to have Pantaloon coding for the Amiga. He rocked the PC and rocks the c64, so expectations are high I would say.

By the way, I'll be back at Revision 2013 if it is held, that is. Bought the flighttickets already, as they were hilariously cheap...as in, CHEAP! Optima also bought tickets :-D
