Naturally :D I think about bringing the strong Partisan stuff this year. All the years of fiddeling on the intro framework seem to finally pay off. at least a little. Realised this past weekend that it has become considerably easier to put up and synchronise a storyboard and put effects therein. Hooray for modularity \o/

Looks like the trackmo i planned for Revision won't be ready on time, unfortunately.

Sorry to hear that, Hitch.

... or release it as party version and finish it later ;o) I guess people there and Amiga fans will appreaciate any Amiga prod even "not finished ones".

That worked well for us last year. ;-)

Aske, that partycoding you did last Revision was epic/insane/sick/awesome and then some....

@ blueberry: great pictures and the important banana - kewl! Looking forward to revision 2012!

Yeah, the banana is indeed very important as it's his typical food!
Toulou guys: it's sad to hear that you don't plan to participate in the Amiga compo again... Maybe you'll change your mind? There is no good compo without a Toulou demo.
Hitchhiker: A500 trackmo? Wow, sounds delicious. One of my scene dreams is to make an A500 demo and actually that's why I was trying to reach you right after Revision (with no luck).

I didn't feed him any bananas, but we still got some great results when he visited the other day - although it was primarily so I could get an introduction to the awesome world of GNU rocket on Amiga! It really helps produce better and more interesting effects - even the simple ones I can do :)

Shut up, Boobser - your stuff so far looks sexy as a kitten :-)

indeed, but it's because of farfar magic and GNU rocketry! :)

So it actually IS rocket science then.
On another note ... WHAT ABOUT NORGE ? Anything in the pipelines (no not the oil ones except the dance-foam-oil) from the land of Fjells, Vast Oil Riches, Fjords and Lungemos ?

d0DgE: On another note ... WHAT ABOUT NORGE ? Loady will probably be in China before&during Revision and I'm more likely to spend Easter in Oslo myself. So; don't expect any Norwegian kindness/punishment until this summer.

Hmmh, there just might be some Finnish love in either the 4k or the 64k-introcompo!

3 effects to go, some graphics and font (i.e. all the text elements) still missing. Then the "directing ordeal" starts. We'll have a "staff meeting" next weekend :)

Code, ready. Music, ready. Graphics, not quite ready. Sync, absolutely not ready :-D

I got a feeling the Amiga competition is going to be massive this year!!!

2 effects to go. Tune in a 85% state (not yet fully satisfied with its dramaturgy). Font still to make out, graphics more or less ready.

Hey Dodge, what you using for your music? Custom synth or standard tracker?

h0ffman: Are you going to have live concert like last year? ;oD

I don't know....

@h0ff: Standard tracker (converted PT -> P6.1), for now, although I'm tending towards using AHX in the future. That's for the intro stuff with me "acting" like a coder using provided tunes by Novel or whoever does provide fitting music.
For making music I used Octamed Soundstudio and later more and more Digibooster 2 because of better DSP managing. But I didn't seriously track a tune since the main soundtrack for The Key To Success.

Isn't AHX really CPU hunger?
I haven't had chance to put my new theory in practise, wave generation using a soft synth prior to demo. Thinking that you could use a combination of P61 + code generated samples. Maximum speed replay with super phat long high quality samples!
I have the code to a certain music **** editor, but haven't worked out how any of it works yet! :S

h0ffman: Isn't AHX really CPU hunger? Well, TMC provided an 68000 compatible replayer, so I hope future sandbox tests will not disapoint me.

That's Dexter/Abyss ofcourse and I misspelled TMA.
...one effect to go, alpha5 ...

i think i'm halfway there effects-wise for my demo, but they still need some artist looove :)
... and still a lot of timing to do afterwards!
