I have a copy of Amiga forever 2016 and I'm trying to play some demo files downloaded from this site.

I want to be able to play the demo files from Elude but I can't work out what to do with the files after I've downloaded them.

Can anyone help?

I assume you are familiar with using an Amiga and Amiga Forever? Usually, you have to extract the demos that you have downloaded (which are probably archived in lha or zip depending on where and what you download). You can then launch them from your Amiga Forever environment.

You can mount an archive directly as a hard drive in WinUAE.

Under "CD & Hard drives", click "Add Directory or Archive". Fill in desired device name and volume label, then click "Select Archive or Plain File". Make sure "Bootable" is checked.

You can now boot directly into the archive and simply run the demo by typing its filename in the archive (use some archive utility, such as 7-zip, to see what the name is).
