To start a pouet like(tm) "random" thread, i thought a random underrated demo/intro thread would be a nice idea, also to give credit to some maybe overlooked productions, that deserve som extra attention.

So, to start it of i would like to mention:

Interparallactic by Unique

after watching it a couple times, it have really grown on me, and it's imho a very good demo. a lot of attention to keep the palette in check, nice effects with nice music and syncro, that is not overdone. It almost have an AGA look to it. great job.

all in all, it's a direction i would like to see more ind OCS demos, where there is some attention in making use of the whole screen, and use the left over bitplanes for something interesting, instead of effects on copperfades or solid background colors.

Oh, I've always also had a thing for the Rednex demos. Quackbusted 2 has a great style. Really something I wish I was creative enough to do :-)

Rednex was a cool group. no wonder when looking at the original member list, which among others had Slammer (how to skin a cat) and Airwalk (Friday at eight) and Hithansen on the board :)

Indeed, very underrated demo, one of the best OCS productions in years. I’m sure it will find its way to ADA eventually :)

Don’t try to Googletranslate it as it contains a lot of typical Ghostown jokes and the humour is the first thing that gets lost in translation :) Anyway, Interparallactic was one of our favourite prods from 2015 so I translated my comment to english and posted it on Pouet today.

Honestly, i don't know what you're talking about... the demo is on here :) It's been there since ages (well, since just now but nobody needs to know that)

Also, interesting to see an Amiga demoscene dedicated portal... wish i could speak the language! On occasion, i've been googletranslating the PPA.pl forum scene section but it's not ideal to say the least.

I always liked Boundless Void. It's a bit different design-wise, but has great music and some really cool code.
