Hi! This is really a long shot but i'm looking for a demo that i had a long time ago when i had my Amiga 500.
The demo involves some sort of robot, sort of ED209-type that is out in the desert. Some sort of target is moving at high speed towards the robot from far away and the robot "wakes" up and starts shooting the target. When the target is destroyed the robot settles down again. Sorry i dont have any more information, a long shot as i said =) Thanks!

No shooting as far as I can remember, but at least a ED209 in what looks like a desert. Sometimes when enough time has passed, some false memories can appear :)
Nope not that one but thanks anyway! =) The one i'm looking for is not really an ED209 but a similar robot and it shoots at a target that is moving towards. Before the target enters the desert the robot is in kind of stand by "laying down" or in sitting position sort of. When the target approaches the robot rises and starts spinning up the machineguns and then fires until the target is destroyed and then it settles down again. Perhaps it was a local Swedish demo without internal spread. Thanks for your effort! =)

I saw this demo only once in very early nineties in Poland at my school mate place. That was the first thing i saw on Amiga500 ever and I was stunned. I also remember there was screenshot from this demo in some computer magazine and after that I've never seen it again. I never had Amiga by myself but when I'm asking former owners they don't remember this demo/movie at all. I remembered that as kind of robo-ant with gatling guns sleeping on desert and being automatically switched on to destroy moving object. If you have found it let me know please.Thanks
Thanks for your effort man but It's not this one. The demo we're talking about was more like short animated movie. There was no fancy music and jumpy animations. It was more like kind of intro before video game with scary sounds and this robot point of view was something like Terminator had in movies. I hope I'm not wrong cause it was more than 20 years ago.

OMG !!! Thank you very,very much man. That is exactly what I was looking for even if it's game not a demo. I felt little touched actually watching this after so many years.So many good memories. Thanks a lot again. Finally I can sleep well ;)
