Finnish Amiga Party is happening again from 5 to 8 december. Last year had a surprising amount of fresh and good quality releases so hopefully more this year. [understatement]The Amiga scene could do with some more releases [/understatement].

Great :) Looking forward to it.

I think the "YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE ENTRY TO COMPETITIONS IF YOU COME TO THE PARTY" idea is interesting in this case. It seems to work well for this party.

Hopefully, we'll see more from Traction Amiga, Jumalauta, Trilobit and Dekadence too.

Some fine stuff released I think. That Traction demo just became my favourite Amiga demo of 2013. Rock solid work....and how the hell such quality can only end up 3rd is completely beyond me. Guess some drunk-voting must have taken place.

Always very inspiring to see new stuff, and I am very surprised that so much Amiga stuff can get released at one party. Yes, I do realise that it is an Amiga party, but people still need to dig out their stuff and...erm, do some stuff with it. Can't wait for Datastorm now and I can almost make a promise that we'll bring a new prod. The break has done me good and now Bstrr has also gotten his Amiga back into his livingroom, so we're in full preparation for 2014.

Releases and results.

Some great stuff once again. Finnish Amiga Party <3

That Traction demo was fantastic and my personal favourite from the demo compo. I've been watching it over and over. Also enjoyed Australian Drug Foundation's debut amiga demo a lot too.

@Corial: great news and looking forward to more Focus Design in 2014.

True, the ADF demo was also cool. Reeeeeaaaaally liked that track by Serpent! But yeah, Traction rocks hard. Seems like a 2x2 c2p on the stream, but I might be wrong.......and don't really care. Amiga has a blocky look anyway and lots of fab demos ran in 2x2 :-).

Yep, Serpent's tune from ADF's demo really stood out and i love it. Also, releases are available on the link i posted above.

Unfortunately real life effectively blocked me from going there although flights & hotel were booked, but on the bright side: more time to make the demo even cooler (Datastorm, here we come!)
Had fun doing the last-minute bootblock though, and surprised at the number of entries in that compo. :)

Some nice stuff released at FAP indeed. Bootblock compo was excellent even though the results are quite annoying me for obvious reaons and no, I'm of course not speaking about the 1st or the excellent 2nd placed boot intro which I really like. Anyway, hope there'll be a FAP again next year. :)

Traction - Swookie is amazing!

The soundtrack is awesome, and the beautifully synced visual effects adds to perfection.

Great stuff!

Btw, are you not adding new productions to the frontpage anymore?

In this case, I think "roll" cuts it pretty well. ;)
