Note to Blueberry: still 80 workitems left? But again, 80 items seem to resemble the number of items you fixed during the party last year :-). That effort was awesome!

If I count items which have a placeholder solution as half done, there are around 60 items remaining by now. :)

That seems a lot of work still to do, yet you remain so calm :) ?

I hope you manage to finish your demo. I'd love to see another Ghostown/Loonies co-op. Also fantastic to see Kiero working on a new demo. Last years Elude demo was soooooo nice.

That goes for all the other groups aswell ofcourse.

What I've got to do right now is to do the laundry and clean up the place from about 8 days of almost continuous coding. My flat looks like it's been worked over by the Bowery Boys.
Novel will arrive tomorrow evening for the first pre-party beers \o/

... synch done, objects and textures optimized, ditherings and palletes still to do - well demo is quite viewable, so I hope we will finish tuning it on the party

... now: packing... beer (16 liters), dozen bottles of energy drink, Amiga 1200, PC, monitor, wires cables and stuff... heh no space for sleeping bag? Do I even need that? ;oD

... leaving from Brno at around 6pm to pickup guys from Prague... still almost 900 km to go, yes I am the only driver ufffff

Good luck at Revision!!!

Wish I could be there! (flight only @ 230 eur = fail.. :-/ ) Anyway, feel free to contact me if you have some time-consuming boring stuff/problem/whatever left I might be able to help out with. :-) I'm planning to mess around with demo related stuff in the weekend anyway so..

kiero, britelite, bluberry: Since it's so easy to forget things while you're all stressed out with unfinished stuff: now don't forget to make sure your productions run fine on 030/50 + 8 MB too! ;-D

Amiga intro compo 4 entries: Depth, Dekadence, Moods Plateau, Focus Design & Unstable Label.

Whatever the rumors were about, i guess they didn't come true?

Anyway, looking forward to rewatching the intros as they seemed all very nice.

And a surprise A500 Ghostown & Rno co-op in the oldschool democompo!

@corial: Freeloader is nice, Hots Dots is fantastic! My favourite Focus Design intro so far. Great design and colors, very nice effects, great synch and nice tune.

Maytz truly is a mastermind when it comes to art direction!! To tell you the truth, the intro we ended up releasing was the 110th iteration (give or take a few) of the intro....not kidding.

Stream died just before the amiga compo. Oh well, serves me right for not being there.

There was a demo from Elude (who seems to be dead now judging by the end message), Artwork & Horizontal Lamers, Desire, MadWizards (!), Focus Design and Amigans.

Just watched the Focus Design demo which was pretty f*%cking fantastic.

Found this link on pouet;

The music on the creditspart of Madwizards demo is just amazing tho, mp3 anyone?
This demo have been going on repeat the last hour, now for its music. The visuals are amazing too,
but the musicians have really done top notch work, both in mainpart and greetings!

Very enjoyable and impressive work!

All Amiga prods were nice. I'm impressed by Britelite creativity, 3 intros and 1 demo released at the party it requires a lot of work! Also Corial made 2 intros and 1 demo, that's admirable. Hopefully it'll give a little kick to my motivation.

This is the conclusion of my Easterparty tradition.I've considered it for some time now,and will enjoy the party from my sofa in the future :-D. So thanks for good times in Fallingbostel (really fond memories from that time), Bingen and Saarbrücken. Oh,and thanks for the feedback on our intro on Pouet,we're glad you liked it - the dot is still alive it seems :-).

Corial, I can totally understand this decision. When you have three (wife and 2 kids) concrete reasons to stay home (or with family) on Easter days, nobody can argue with that.

How good are the chances then to attend by "remote control", i.e. letting the other involved folks deliver the prod ?

I can honestly say I don't know.I'm a bit fed up with intros, and I THINK that the next project will be for Datastorm. However,I need a longer break from demomaking and just fool around with ideas as they pop up.
