Some fast info about the most important polish demo-party:

Some competition rules change in comparison to the last year:

- Oldschool Graphics compo is renamed to Pixel Graphics with resolution limited to 320x256 pixels and max of 256 colours.
- Oldschool Demo compo will accept only 8-bit entries.
- New competition is Amiga Demo Compo which will accept all Classic Amiga (AGA/ECS) entries. 060/AGA Amiga will be provided to run the compo.
- We abandon all size limits for demos, limits for intros are there to stay, of course.
- Another new compo is Game Compo prepared on a request of the Polish gamedev community. Participants are required to present their project on stage and show it on the bigscreen while playing. After the party, games will be distributed with other entries. There are no size limits.

Thank you for your attention. Riverwash Team (Fei, Gorzyga, V0yager) http://www.riverwash.pl

About the party

Riverwash demoscene party is a meeting of computer demoscene people and is going to happen between 3rd and 5th of September, 2010 at the No Mercy club, Bema 65, Warsaw city, Poland (the same location as last year). Riverwash party is organized for the fourth time. In 2007 we met in Szymocice in the south of Poland, in 2008 the party was held in Rudy Raciborskie, very near to the previous place and last year we had fun at the No Mercy club in Warsaw. Demoscene parties in Poland have been organized for almost 20 years, since 1990.

ps. Remote participation in the competitions is allowed.

Nice to see there is a separate amiga demo compo. I wonder if there will be enough entries though. Sure hope so!

Riverwash this weekend. Crossing my fingers for some Ghostown/Elude/insert random cool polish ex-amiga demo group action.

According to the results, there were 2 Elude demos. Which one was the amiga demo (dust or futuricon)?

Can't wait to see the demo (both demos actually).

Thanks Kiero! Youtube version of Dust.

Great demo. The way you present your effects is, as ever, stunning. For some reason, you wouldn't say they are running on an amiga (but on something more high end). Very stylish. Great tune and good synchro between tune/affects.
