Hello scene mates!

I'm in point, for above four years still looking for somebody who can code for me very simple chip-pack(only ahx tunes). Real coder do this in few hours i think, but... Yes, you guess the answer - i found nobody(everybody busy, working on their projects). So i ask, is here / there / anywhere on the planet earth some skilled coder who love real chiptunes and got some spare time to do something for classic 64k(any even) amiga ?

I'm member of Veezya, the co-musican in this project is Jazzcat / Kam / Cactoos / Aceman.

Write to: eko_vzy@wp.pl

Thanks for your time mates!

Thanks mate but, my hope is gone... long time ago. I'm work on my own, on scripts witch was used to make Instant pack by Appendix(Iaio pack maker by Juen/Veezya). Maybe when people hear us, they will support us in next issue - i really belive in that. We still want to support this great platform, just for fun and pleasure for all the active users around the globe. Now is pressure on Hively tracker(witch is good, but i'm personally hear maybe one rare song made by Syphus), but look how many great AHX tunes is around.

@elektro: it's a pity that you don't find a coder for your project. Coding music disks and slideshows doesn't seem popular.

I love ahx tunes and with such good composers, i'm sure it would turn out great. So good luck.

If you don't manage to release it as a musicdisk, maybe you should consider releasing the tunes anyway.

@ Frog. I don't heave any reply from Spot at the moment, maybe he is busy. Hey, give him some time. ;)

I'm enyway, still changing scripts in Iaio packmaker. Yesterday we did few test on different confingurations. Yes, it's running perfect on PPC / 040 / 030.
Iaio is based on system, i check later how about unexpanded a1200 with 2mb ram. ;]

AHX chip pack?
I can do this easy!
Search for "HIT MOUSE 1", ok, so it sucks balls, but it plays AHS's.
If you just want a static screen with a list of tunes then I could have it done in a couple of hours.

I could probably also code the musicdisk, although I'm busy for a few weeks now. But if you can wait until May, I could you hook you up with some really asskicking stuff ;)

@britelite: that's a great offer.
@elektro: britelite's offer is certainly worth considering. Rno's musicdisk 100 (recently released) looked great and had a great interface. Instead of having no hope after 4 years, you now have to make a choice :o)

In any case, it would be great to have a new ahx musicdisk.

Yeah that sound good :)

It was always a knightmare for musician to find coder to code them a musicdisk and for graphist to find coder to code them a slideshow.

Just look at Kiss My Jazz / APPENDIX, not so good interface but really nice music !

@ Electro
I have taken up the challenge and have coded an interface which plays both AHX & and MMD, runs with only 1Meg, runs in a frame on AGA, has a cool interference effect, has a cool (m00ds style) "squarez" effect, and multitasks without crashing! (RNO#100 can suck my balls). Oh and it SHOULD be ECS compatible (but I've yet to test this).

Email me for details, or watch aminet and pouet for "s0s_001" which should be released in a couple of days. Just cleaning up the GFX now.

@doke
Thanks, now tell that to the (deaf and blind l337 c***s) on Pouet :)

Cheers.

It seems that SOS get in conflict with FBlit. Got some MuForce hits when starting. The control in multitasking sucks but I like the music. :D

@Elektro
My version of "blue moon" will look NOTHING like S0S_001. I have just finished the "pen-and-paper" phase and am just starting the actual coding (from scratch). The only similarities between the two will be: Multitasking, AHX Replayer (albeit slightly optimised), and ECS compatible.

Oh, and what happened to Xeron? I read in the "HAM-6 K..." intro that he was coding blue moon WAAAY back in 2005!?

@ blakkhar
1) the string which contains the title "003.THX" also is my random number generator, I just HAD to put it in there somewhere as I was quite proud of this feature. It uses up no cpu time which was not already being used by the module replayer (A big clue as to how I achieved this), which of course is next to nothing. You may notice that the interference pattern changes slightly whenever the string says something other that "003...".

2) I'm planning to release an updated version sometime in the near future (like sept when Syntax 08 will be happening). I have already updated some of the display routines so they should not flicker quite so much. Thankyou for your error report. Information like this is quite useful.

3) So someone out there actually LIKES my music!? Why not tell it to pouet? Oh, and I have to say that I like your tunes too. And let me assure you that my compliment is sincere and I'm not just repaying the compliment.

4) You ARE aware that you can edit your last post? No need to post twice.

Cheers.

1: Ok, don`t know that random feature.
2: Better multitasking would be cool so that the modules aren`t changed so often when other screens are open.
3: pouet sucks. ;D Haven`t an account there but thanks too for the compliment. Feedback is sometimes good for the soul. :-)
4: I think yes.

@anakirob

I basically didn't have any motivation to code it, and so it never got coded. I still feel quite bad about it, but at least if someone else codes it, it will finally get a release.

So, are you going for the stuff Anakirob has coded, or are you still in the need of some codework? :)
