I was hoping that demoscene.tv would stream from the party this year, since I can't attend the party. But no, according to their website, they can afford going to the party and therefore there will be no live streaming (at least not from the dtv team), sadly.

As far as i know, no worries, there will be a live stream, independently from the DTV.

@corial:
On the pc side: Andromeda, ASD, Fairlight, Cocoon, Traction, Orb, Conspiracy are pretty much confirmed at this moment. There will probably be a truckload of others aswell.

On the amiga side, nothing is know at all.

As Charlie said, bp organizers were looking for a streaming solution but nothing is certain at the moment.

" Tomorrow, Monday at 22:00 CET we will be running a load-test of our Breakpoint-TV streaming server. We need as many testers generating server load as possible. So please check back here tomorrow evening for the URL and take part in the stream test, so we can be sure it works during the party."

I really hope there is a decent stream with good coverage this year. I have become accustomed to my yearly dose of BP/IRC funn! :)

and I predict an _sp A500 shocker this year. And also something nice from Jamie/Skarla ;) (judging by their posts)

I don't think Jamie will be ready with his demo just yet. Should be worth the wait though.

It's not predictable who will release what. There have been years that i expected so much and was that more dissapointed when this or that group didn't release anything. So i have adopted the "we will not see many releases this time" attitude in the last years. On the other hand, every production that does get released warms my heart. What would really lighten up my day though, is the appearance of any new coder/group.

There were 3 64k intros (Moods Plateau, Software Failure, Supergroup) and 2 4k intros (Nature and Ephidrena).

I will be there, and I will bring another fresh Amiga 4k as usual. And so should you - all of you! ;)

Where did it go? :)

Nature kicked some coderbutt with their realtime raytracer in 4k. Supergroup had some nice solid texturemap scenes. Ephidrena reused their voxelthing from Alice Copper, and combined that with some great-looking circles I must say! Software failure showed some 3d-scenes with texturemap+lines. Moods did a nice looking designish intro (a bit difficult to describe exactly :) )

Thank a lot Corial :0) I will look forward to seeing those.

I've already managed to see Natures effort from this video

I think that the quality was generally rather high, so thumbs up for a nice compo.

For those interested, releases are available here. Nature's intro is on Pouet so only Ephidrena's intro isn't available.

props to all of you guys ... nice compo although I found it rather disappointing that the entry recordings weren't 'croped' to fit the bigscreen size :(
Sadly Blueberry didn't finished his 4k AFAIK. That would've been a great stand off

The prods are online at A.D.A., except eph's 4k, which isn't available yet.

@d0DgE: can you give me the detailed credits for your intro. They are probably not correct on A.D.A. Thanks!

Yeah, that pc 64k compo was totally disappointing. Nothing for me there what so ever. That was bad.
