I am going to break the silence on the forum with a request for help in the search for two demos that I lost from my collection and which I couldn't find again, neither on Pouet nor on Funet.

Demo #1: It is made by Doctor Mabuse Orgasm Crackings (D.O.C.) in the 1988 - 1990 period. It is a one-screen demo with a scroller at the bottom. The screen contains a band of 4 animated santas moving to the tune, which I remember to be quite cheeky.

Demo #2: I can't remember the authors of the demo, but it was a technically rather nicely implemented, quite long Trackmo with music from Turrican. I don't remember it having the word "Turrican" in the name of the demo or at least I couldn't find it back by searching for Turrican on Pouet.

Any pointers apprciated!

@noname: can't help on the demos. However, have you searched amigascne? It is now mirrored on scene.org. You can find the D.O.C. dir here.

As for the silence, it's summer i guess :o) (and the fact that i really need to bring back some activity to the site... which is sort of "out of my hands" at the moment"... which in turn is frustrating).

Thanks nwm, "Pixeled Pleasure" was the one I was looking for! Unfortunately it fails to impress from todays point of view, but I liked it back then because it combined my two major interests in the Amiga back then: demos AND Turrican!

Hopefully I can dig out the Santa demo as well. I am 99% sure it was made by DOC and I think it came with one of my Soundtracker collection disks.
