Hi,

does anyone have the skill to make a CUSTOM mods of those music or even better rips the music ?

AFAIR one of them was a P61 mods with samples somewhere in the fast mem, hard to rip
another music was a DBM with generated samples, hard to rip too

Hello there.

Grid is a normal 4ch module with big samples, I have it saved.

The music in Grid2 and Zeon uses our custom replayer with 8 channels. They were sequenced in octamed but due to special timing (it's a long story involving amiga hardware) the speed can't be adjusted to exactly match the intros. So yes, in that case a custom mod must be made :)

Is it trouble-free to construct a custom mod? It's not that much work to create a code snippet for this, I still have the sources :)

yeah it would be nice to have them in original form or if it's not possible in CUSTOM formats.

It's quite strange as AFAIR Grid2 was a DBM... but you're the coder so you know the truth ;)

Thanks for the reply

I loved the tunes in all 3 productions but the tune in Grid 2 is still my favourite. Really nice work!

I collected myself and made custom modules for Grid2 and Zeon. I added these along with modules for Grid and One on our homepage today.

Take a look at http://nature.armbar.se/ and on the page for each of these intros you can now download the music. The custom modules are very crude, no volume setting, requires 020 etc. Tested with DeliTracker II. I didn't get it to work with DeliPlayer on PC but on the other hand I didn't try too hard.

Hey Pezac, is it just me or the samples into the Grid2 custom need normalization? i mean: compared to the tune in the intro itself, some instruments seem quite lower than others (piano and organ synthsounds are lower than high hat, for instance)
It may be just a sensation thou, 'coz it's strange to hear those sounds without seeing any images running on screen! ;)

I don't know, it should be 100% the same because it's the exact same code, it's even the exact same object file so it's not even re-assembled :)

The overall mix would need a volume boost, but because of the fast'n'dirty mixing code it never will :)
