There's a very interesting fpga based project in development. basically a fpga chip simulated Amiga.

why would it be a hoax? it's hardly rocket science. the project is a simple "functional" fpga simulation (ie: not 100% logic correct) of the custom chips with a real 68k piggy-backed along for the ride.

i wouldnt say thats impossible
