Good demo, all-time great soundtrack.

Can't really rank this demo well since I for some reason missed it for a few years and don't know how it would match up against it's competitors, but it's definately top quality material.

I remember seeing this demo all those years ago - original and beautiful effects, cracking sound-track which really enhances the visual experience. One of my all-time favourites; got me back into coding.

It was really a pain in the ass to upload title picture to Zulu with a 1200 baud modem over a damn noisy phoneline. it took almost one hour to upload 30kb picture from Turkey to Germany.

Anyway, i miss good old days...

@kris:
You are talking about the picture of the statue carving itself and the Rebels logo (screenshot 2), right? Well, it was worth every second from the one hour it took to deliver it to the coder! Excellent picture and nice idea (a statue carving itself).

I always thought this demo was overrated. Probably because I was really excited before I watched this demo from the excellent reviews I had read.

I liked the music but the most thing I remember was the animation which was good.

One of the first demos I've ever seen (I have Amiga since 97), I was always amazed by the roller coaster part with Prodigy soundtrack. Instant love.
