Brilliant little intro and one i will always remember. Sadly, it doesn't run on my 060 anymore. This intro is what demoscene is all about. Beautiful, elegant, stylish... One of my favourite intros. Respect to the creators of this artwork.

This is the shit! Probably the intro with the most dense athmosphere.
Works on 060 with tools like noaga, tude or killaga. Turning off the copyback-cache is the trick!

On my Blizzard 060/50 works perfectly now, just updated SetPatch to v43.7 (mmu.library patch) and everything runs fine... ;)

classic intro! respects!

i watched this one zillion times on my old a600. one word: perfect!

Stylish simplicity that proves a very simple concept can catch your attention. The atmospheric music is the icing on the cake!

Nothing else than respect to the developers of this one. Beutiful, streamlined and makes your mind walk away for a bit...

according to slummy this one uses a nice trick for adding colours together using blitter sources and logic operations. It uses the logic operations to create an adder in much the same fashion as one would create one in hardware. correct me if I heard wrong :)

comment by Slummy on 12 October 2005

apparently loady is too newschool to realize that the "nice trick" is the exact same principle that everyone (and his dog) used to do shadebobs back in the days..
the neat stuff here is ofcourse that this version also includes subtraction of a previous frame, so that you get motionblur. (ofcourse, this had been done several times earlier too.. the blitter-smear in the beginning of "Sound Vision" from asm92 is a good example)..

However, the only thing that really matters here is that this is one of the best amiga intros of all time.. :)

I think both Dweezil and Strobo were Finnish, hmm? The Finns and scandinavians in general seem to have a knack when it comes to simplified design. This is an uber demonstration in the beauty of simplicity! Love it. 4/5

Classic !! Always great to watch it after 15 years... I think Ika-thing / Loonies will get the same destiny (Darkroom: 40k, Ika: 4k !)
I just watching both of them, they really rocks in the category "small, but kick ass ambiance and fx" !!

Probaly my favourite A500 intro. Ahead of its time for sure. Funny that all those effects look modern and fresh even today, after almost 20 years. Dweezil was a genius, sad that he was kidnapped by UFO right after releasing this.

comment by Sir_Lucas on 06 October 2013

Ahead of its time. Simple, yet great!
