wish i could open a beer... but my demo project is a disaster. not sure what kind of music i'll be able to get for it... also i haven't coded any 68k asm in half a year so my head isn't working too well... i wonder if people will stone me if the demo only has tunnels and stuff again, or if I code graphics routines in c ...

hehe, i was thinking the same thing :) Anyhow, enjoy your pre-party accomplishment beer.

dodke: who f*%#@ cares if it "only has tunnels and stuff again". Considering the fact that you started so late, i think we would all be happy that there actually is a demo.

Z5: I'm sure you've been keeping on top of this who is likley to release on Amiga at Breakpoint ?

I was really impressed with Soliloquy last year. I would like to see something cool on stock A500/A1200 this year as well as an awesome 060 demo.

@toffee: i know a couple of ppl releasing but that are mostly the ppl who posted in this thread. Anyhow, over the years i've learned to keep my expectations low. Still, i'm definately wondering if Jamie actually managed to finish his demo. Let's just assume he did not though (keeping expectations low). A new skarla demo would have been major though.

@britelite: so you are actually going to compete in all 3 amiga compos? Has this been done before? Anyhow, looking forward to the 4k... and the 64k... and the demo :)

It would be nice to see a new demo from the Black Lotus as well. It's been a while since we saw anything from them :0( Kalms Vs Jamie would be great.

Finally the demo is ready and uploaded. Yes, I got to do some partycoding, even though I thought I was finished before I went to Germany :-)

the ada prod was even better than your last one, infact your little intro got something in spades that the others lack completely and that is a very tight design, especially in linking every little effect with the screens, just like they did it back in the "trackmo days" and also i think u manage to get alot out of very simple stuff, which makes it interesting to look at.
I hope u rank pretty high together with ham's little ant intro, though his sound could use a little love imho :) coz they where the 2 most interesting 64k miggy prods............no need to comment the 4k's :D

@z5_:

what I saw on the big screen was actually a great designed and colour schemed second ADA intro, so nothing to be ashamed of!
Had a nice chatter also with Esau and Lance at the fire place...

Now there's just 6 hours for Doc.K to finish the wild HW entry...gotta do a little moral support.

4k and 64k looks pretty good even by author names, but also watched some of them on my laggy-slow stream, and must to say from what i see, it's very good. In waiting state about demos, but for sure, TBL have a demo for this year. And hope kiero with ubik mutate somethink :)

ps. Watched on my real 2 64k: walking_in_circles_by_ADA and UmbilicusMundi_by_Software_Failure. Must to say, that Z5 with Esau done pretty stilysh intro ! I always prefered design+music (even, it's can be not so great by code). Design it's all. And WIC are good by it. Expectually i like very much end part :) Remember me the old cractros and a bit Melon Design stile. Good one.

When i run UmbilicusMundi, first opinion was: music suck, first scene suck. After some seconds, i see that scenes are good. And music, are stilish too (just need to listen it more that first seconds). And intro intself better and better to the happy end. Spider idea are good too :)

Only what i miss, it's that it's as usual with not so good screen resolution (classic amigas only). 640x480 with some more colours will be cool for sure. Expectually Z5s intro will be very good looking say for 640x480 + ahi :)
