I'm thinking of making a DVD with top ten ADA demos.. and upload the .iso somewhere for anyone with a DVD player to enjoy these productions, and/or some DVDs with all productions from Amiga Demo groups.
Does this interests you? and do I need to contact the demo groups for that?
I'm writing that here because I know that a lot of demogroup participants are reading this forum.

@Stormlord:
I can't speak for the demosceners but i think it only depends on whether or not you ask money for the iso. If not, then i don't see any problem. It has been done before (see the amidemos collection).

Is it of interest? For me yes, but it depends on the quality of recording in my case. Bartman is doing "Demo or die" collections for pc and they are great. But the encoding quality (which is done by software) is extremely good so it's actually great to watch on televisions.

I just want to contribute to amiga demoscene as I can..
and I'm very sorry I have nothing to do with programing, well I'm a musician and I have tried to compose 2 protracker modules, but thats not enough.
I will use the video files from here and If I think I can make a a better quality video of what I see I will do it

@stormlord: screens for the menu shouldn't be a problem. Contact me when you need them.

StormLord: When you put the demos on a DVD, make sure they are grabbed in full 50fps with no frames skipped. After all, that is the proper way to see Amiga demos.

The Mindcandy 2 DVD, which contains Amiga demos, has all sorts of special viewing options to make sure the demos are displayed correctly whether the DVD is watched on a TV or on a PC. Perhaps that is worth investigating.

Blueberry: I'm downloading the preview for mindcandy to see what are you talking about...
but remember... they charge for that DVD, so they put more time into it..
I'm not gonna charge for something like that.

Abyss have released a couple of DVD-collections of demos called "Demo or Die", the ones I've seen have been of very high-quality, but only featured PC-demos. They are for free so maybe that is a better comparison.
