It seems that after 4 years, Mindcandy 2 is ready. Mindcandy 2 features some of the best Amiga demos captured on DVD. See MAZ Sound Tools for more details. More info will also be added on the official Mindcandy website.

Looks great can't wait to get it. Still wish they'd had a slightly different play list but I'm sure everyone thinks the same. Surley StarStruck deserved to be on there ?

We contributed with screenshots for the booklet. I hope they will look ok.

Looks great and pro for the rest. I would have chosen a lot of different demos (i would probably include at least 5 Ephidrena demos :o)) but the list was put together with feedback from the scene i seem to remember. Still, it has it's fair amount of classics in there so i'm looking forward to it.

Thumbs up must go to Loaderror and Frequent for providing the most useless commentary on the DVD. It was hilarious though which made it the best commentary for me (the rest is a bit too technical :o)). Just the type of thing you would expect from those crazy Norwegians.

Finally seen it and I'm very impressed. The disc is so professional that all involved deserve a lot of credit for this disc ! The Menus, inclosed Booklet and quality of the captures really do justice to the whole Amiga demo scene. So thanks guys for producing this !

It's a shame they couldn't get many of the original crewes todo the commentaries but the commentaries of Kalms, Chaos and Mr Pet were really good.

I can't beleive Chaos said he was thinking of dropping the "Amiga Rulez" rotator because it wasn't in 1 frame from World of Commodore ! If you watch the demo "Sanity is dead" it's good to see Chaos and Mr Pet talking again! I think they said Mr Pet works with Chaos at there games company but I don't think Mr Pet does any demos now :0(

You want stuff from Mr.Pet: einklang (do a search on pouet). But be prepared for a change in style from his earlier work :o)

phenomena megademo had the best commentary, without doubt!

"now I don't know why I put that there but it seemed like a good idea at the time"

@dalton : if you press "resume play" without anything else selected first it plays some video from the 9 fingers dancing.

Cool disk, and very professionally done. Actually I enjoyed Trixter's commentary more than any of the others. He was able to provide an objective view that none of the others had. Lol at Phenomena though. TMB and Tomcat commenting on Mental Fucking Hangover was just plain embarassing.
